Pregnant women without a residential address in Denmark

If you are not registered with a CPR number at an address in Denmark, you must in principle pay in full or in part for your treatment at the hospital. Below, you will find information about self-payment for a pregnancy and birth course at the hospital.

Do you want a referral to a hospital in relation to pregnancy scans and to the birth, you must contact a general practitioner, book an appointment and pay for the consultation yourself. The doctor will examine you and refer you to a hospital.

You will receive a letter with the time and place of your examination at the hospital as well as the following information about your rights.
