• Persons WITH Danish health insurance

  Foreigners and Danes resident abroad with the special health insurance card, who have Danish health insurance and a Danish social security number, can be vaccinated. 

  Remember to renew your special health insurance card if it has expired.

  In the North Denmark Region people with the special health insurance card can book an appointment by calling the Corona hotline

• Persons WITHOUT Danish health insurance

  Foreigners and Danes resident abroad without the special health insurance card, who do not have Danish health insurance and no Danish social security number, can be vaccinated if they meet these requirements:

  • You have been in Denmark for more than 14 days.
  • You intend to stay in Denmark for a total of more than 30 days.
  • The primary purpose of your stay in Denmark is NOT to obtain vaccination.

   

  Refugees from Ukraine

  Refugees from Ukraine do NOT have to meet the above requirements, but can apply for vaccination immediately after arrival in Denmark.

  An employee will call you on the phone number you supply on this form within approximately 5 days and help you find a time for a vaccination.

• What are the intervals between vaccinations?

  2nd vaccination

  If you are vaccinated with Pfizer/Comirnaty there must be an interval of at least 21 days between 1st and 2nd vaccination.
  If you are vaccinated with Moderna/Spikevax there must be an interval of at least 28 days between 1st and 2nd vaccination.

   

  3rd vaccination

  There must be an interval of at least 140 days between 2nd and 3rd vaccination.

  Same vaccination type must be used

  It’s important that you receive the same type of vaccination each time you are vaccinated.
  You do not have to get all the injections in Denmark.
  

• Remember a photo ID

  If you don’t have a photo ID, you cannot be vaccinated. Therefore, remember ID or other proof of identity with a photo, e.g. your passport.

  If you are an EU citizen you must bring EU health insurance card. If possible ALSO bring a copy of the card for the vaccinationscentre.

• Vaccine passport

  After you have received your first injection, you will receive documentation for your vaccination.
